BobAltium Glad you enjoyed the webinar. This is an exciting time for connected device development. LG has recently announced a connected appliance technology called THINQ(http://www.techtalkforums.co.cc/2011/01/lg-links-home-appliances-with-wifi/). Check it out.

BobAltium With respect to OS support, Altium does not have plans beyond MS OS's. Linux users can use Wine (www.winehq.org) to run Altium Designer as another option.

BobAltium Altium currently has Wifi support through a USB port with streaming video and the software stack. The motivation for this approach was to leverage the NanoBoard 3000. The NanoBoard 3000 can be used as a prototype platform for Wifi, ethernet or 3G development. More connectivity IP is on the way.
